about

This is a Mongolian sound record.

1st song
Ambient 2 Салхиар Дуул (F,Bb)
5th song

These two songs were created in November 2023 when I visited the legendary Morin Khuur(horse-head harp) player's ger(mongolian house) in the Gobi Desert, and when I propped my horse-head harp against the "Obo" (the Tao ancestor deity and a ritual site of Tibetan Buddhism) that watches over the area, I heard the wind blowing. I was blown away and started singing a song by myself.
It was the sound of the "su" of the Batogoto, and I recorded it while freezing in the -8° cold, feeling like I had witnessed the beginning and ultimate end of music.

2nd song
Field Recording:

The second song was recorded near a ger on a windy day in the Gobi Desert. It was very pleasant to hear the sound of the wind at various pitches from far away.

3rd song
Ulaanbaatar↔︎Gobi Desert

The third song is a mix of field recordings recorded in 2022 and 2023 to create a work that resembles thoughts traveling back and forth between Ulaanbaatar and the Gobi Desert.

4th song
Jonon Khar (Y. Nerugui O.Kosuke)

The fourth song is a performance by Mr. Nergui, the legendary horse harp player from the Gobi Desert, of the song ``Jononharu, the black horse that appears in the story of the origin of the horse harp, Fufu Najimuru.''
